That is over 17 a day!

121 active duty military men and woman committed suicide last year 2007!

What can you do to help?

Well, one organization has taken the lead in dealing with this subject, and the U.S. Army has taken notice.

ISP (Intl. Suicide Prevention) a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity was hired to conduct training with active duty U.S. Army personnel at Fort Benning, GA as an experiment in 2005. The president of ISP Matthew Dovel, known as an international suicide prevention expert conducted two days of training for thousands of Chaplains, psychiatrists, counselors, nurses and troops that went to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Once again, the United States Army has requested that ISP and Matthew Dovel conduct new classes to thousands of our troops at Fort Wainwright, Alaska this April, 2008.

The Army does not have funds available for this kind of training but, there are individuals in the Army that see the need for what ISP teaches and have vigorously sought ISP to come to Fort Wainwright.

ISP has committed to go to Fort Wainwright, Alaska even though we do not have the money to travel, purchase the needed training materials, and stay the week as requested to meet with everyone on the base.

Our request of you is that we need to raise $10,000.00 immediately! If you can support what we teach by making a tax deductible donation for part or, all of these funds, we know that you will be doing the greatest good!

To learn more about ISP go to: http://www.supportisp.org

To learn more about ISP’s trip to Fort Wainwright: http://www.supportisp.org/whats_new.htm

To learn more about the president of ISP go to: http://www.supportisp.org

Suicide is preventable, if you know what to do!

Suicidal thoughts can be changed, permanently, and without drugs!

Thank you for your time and for supporting our troops!

Sincerely,

Matthew Dovel
President
ISP (Intl.
